Privacy Policy Information and Privacy Statement CME Forums/CMEF respects the information provided by our customers and will make every effort to retain the privacy of our visitors and still allow you advantages that the Internet has to offer through the CME Forum’s website. Because we gather certain types of information when our customers communicate with us, we believe you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the information we capture and the use of that information. This privacy statement discloses the type of information we capture about our customers, how we use it to communicate with our customers, and how you can request to no longer receive communications from CMEF.   Customer Contact information - Personal and professional information that is provided by the users includes the user name, email address, telephone number, zip code and credit card numbers. Information we may collect that's not provided by you directly includes your IP address, Location information, and Device and browser information. We also collect data about usage patterns, search queries. We may use the information to create personal profiles to improve the functionality. We use customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about our company and promotional material from our partner and resource links. We will use your email address to enhance our ability to communicate with you. In addition to receiving an immediate confirmation of any purchases or conference registration, CMEF will send a registration receipt including session/event assignments, links to conference attendance information and certificate of attendance.  Additionally, you will receive notices of future educational opportunities on your specialty and special promotional offers. Each time we send you information, you will be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving any subsequent communications. The customer's contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary and shared with other companies who may contact our visitors. All email submissions to CMEF become the property of CME Forums website and may be considered for publication and may be edited for length and clarity.   We may require users to register to use the website and the information that will be provided will be stored electronically. We may provide the opportunity to participate in surveys, contests which are voluntary. But by entering the competition, you give us permission to use the personal information to notify the winners, to promote it on the website. If these are organized by third party providers, we may prohibit them from using the personal information without your consent. Opting Out CMEF will accept, implement and maintain any customer request to opt out of future email communications from CMEF/Continuing Medical Education Forums or a third party to whom CMEF provided the customer’s information.
